The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) is the trade association for about a hundred companies in the UK producing prescription medicines. Its member companies research, develop, manufacture and supply more than 90 per cent of the medicines prescribed through the National Health Service (NHS). The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) supports Salters' Chemistry Camps to enable young people to experience the excitement and challenges of chemistry. We also provide paper and web based resources for teachers and students to enhance the study of science, business studies and manufacturing in schools and colleges.
