The
Science Museum has developed five brilliant new
classroom activities to support teaching about materials at KS2,
KS3 and KS4. They include setting ice
on fire and making paper bloom with flowers! There’s also a series
of short films about smart materials showing super demos ranging
from dancing slime to memory metals.
These
activities and films are free to download and use. Developed and
tested with teachers and students, they are easy to use, practical,
safe, low in cost and require minimum preparation.
