Royal Hussars is a British Armoured Regiment at the forefront
of British and NATO commitments around the world.
 Our
donation goes specifically to the Welfare Fund to assist soldiers
and their families. We receive information on related
cases where our money has “made a difference”.

South West London Army Cadet Force
Affiliated since 1992
The Salters’ Company
has enjoyed a long standing relationship with the Army Cadets
and attend various functions throughout the year. We are invited
to their Annual Summer Camp Open Day each year and in the past
we have attended shooting days and other social events. The
Court members and their wives entertain the Officers and their
partners to a Dinner at Salters’ Hall every other year. The
last Dinner took place in April 2007

North East District – London Area Sea Cadets
Affiliated since 1992
The aim of the Sea
Cadets is to provide personal development opportunities and
support in a maritime context for young people and professional
seafarers from all the sea services.
We have forged a strong
link with the Cadets over many years. They offer Guard
of Honour should we require it at any of our formal functions
and the Company are always welcome to attend at various events
throughout the year. The Court members and their wives
entertain the Officers and their partners to a Dinner at Salters’
Hall every other year. The next Dinner takes place during
March 2008.

 HMS Vengeance
Affiliated since 2006
HMS Vengeance is
the fourth Vanguard class submarine of the Royal Navy.
It carries the Trident Ballistic missile, the UK’s nuclear
deterrent.
 Our
new links with HMS Vengeance have now been firmly cemented with
a visit by members of the Court and Livery to the submarine
in Scotland and a dinner which was held for the Officers and
Ship’s Company of the Starboard crew at Salters’
Hall in November.
