Salters Charities
Registered Charity
No 328258
Objectives of the Charity
To administer funds
annually to various charitable causes. Donations are made to
smaller charities where help and assistance to the disadvantaged
can be seen to make a real difference. As far as possible the
charities should be nationwide in their application apart from
those connected with the City of London. As a general policy
the Company will consider charities where the Salters' Company
Liverymen are involved as part of the need to take a more detailed
interest in charities which are personally supported. Regular
visits to supported charities are made by the Charities Administrator
along with Committee members and other interested parties. The
Salters' Company Charitable donations include support for the
Armed Forces, Children and Youth, Education, Christian aid,
Environment, Medical, Homeless and the City.
