The Salters' Company Archives are held at Salters' Hall; they date for the most part from the very late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, although some documents (principally title deeds) survive from the early thirteenth century. They would be of interest to many historical researchers in the areas of social, economic, political, local and family history.

Also held are the archives of the Salters' lnstitute (formerly known as the Salters' Institute of Industrial Chemistry), dating from its foundation in 1918 to the 1990s.

For further details on the archives and how they can be accessed, please contact the Company Archivist Katie George on 020 7588 5216 EXT 225 or e-mail: katie@salters.co.uk
