Salters' Chemistry Camps 2010
******PLEASE NOTE: THE CAMPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE AND THE UNIVERSITY OF BATH ARE NOW OVER-SUBSCRIBED******
Application forms for the 2010 Salters' Chemistry Camps can be downloaded from our website now and are also available in the current issue of A Pinch of Salt! Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received so apply now to avoid disappointment!
Prepare yourselves for an exhilarating year ahead with 16 Camps due to take place in the summer of 2010. We are delighted to welcome Heriot-Watt University which hosts Camps for the first time and The University of Cambridge who are back on board next year. Following the success of the back-to-back style Camps, all our Host Universities will be running 2 x 3 day Camps.

Salters' Festivals of Chemistry 2010
Entry for the 2010 Salters Festivals of Chemistry can be made online now! Although the closing date has now passed, there are still some places left! If you have not yet entered a team, there is still the opportunity to do so. To enquire about availability, please contact the Festivals Administrator on 020 7628 5962 ext. 224 or email: festivals@salters.co.uk for further information.
A grand total of 51 Festivals will take place at Universities throughout the UK and Ireland and all students from Years 7 and/or 8 (or equivalent) are invited to take part. One team of four students are welcome from each school and places are allocated on a first come first served basis, so do enter early to ensure a place at the venue of your choice.

Institute Annual Awards Ceremony 2009
The Salters' Institute Annual Awards Ceremony was held on Thursday 19 November 2009 at Salters' Hall. The current Master of the Salters' Company, Mr Richard Callingham presented certificates to Winners of the Salters' Graduate Prizes; Salters National Awards for Science Technicians; Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology Prizes; Salters Advanced Chemistry Prizes; Salters Horners Advanced Physics Prizes and City & Guilds Prizes. Over 150 guests attended the event enjoying the Prizegiving Ceremony and a buffet style luncheon.
Calling All Chemistry Teachers!
We are looking for more teachers to help run the Salters' Chemistry Camps to be held in the summer of 2010 and in future years. A University Host, a Lead Teacher and a team of 5 Teachers Mentors are assigned to each camp.
