Grants
The Salters'
Institute supports School Science
Departments by offering grants
for the purchase of major items
of equipment. Grants are offered
in the amount of not more than
£1,000, £2,000 or
£3,000 and are subject
to the school fulfilling the
following conditions:
| (a) | The school must match, on a pound-for-pound basis, the sum given by the Institute |
| (b) | The school should have a good record in Advanced Chemistry, priority is given to schools studying Salters Advanced Chemistry. |
| (c) | The chemistry laboratory must need some major items of equipment such as an electric balance or fume cupboard, which are unlikely to be available through the Equipment Redistribution Scheme |
| (d) | Grants will not be made for IT equipment. |
| (e) | Schools which are awarded Equipment Grants must submit their invoices for the total amount of the grant in one lump sum. |
Equpment Grants are currently unavailable, however they may be re-instated in the future.
