Conference
"Natures's Chemistry"
The Conference, sponsored by
Nestlé, took place at
The University of York from
8 to 12 July 2001, and was attended
by 61 chemistry teachers. A
varied programme enabled the
teachers to hear lectures, given

and members of the Chemistry
Department, on a variety of
subjects related to the theme.
There were also opportunities
for hand-on practical work in
the university laboratories.
Delegates were able to relax
with a tour of churches in York
