Salters' National Awards For Science Technicians

Who is eligible
The awards are open to science technicians in schools and colleges catering for students to age 18, and who have a total of 5 or more years experience (either full-time or part-time).

Nominations can be made by the Head Teacher or the Head of the Science Department (or equivalent).

A technician who has been nominated on a previous occasion but was not successful can be nominated again, providing he or she still meets the Awards Criteria.

The closing date for the next round of nominations is 1 March 2012

Up to Four awards of £250.

Subsequent to the receipt of the nomination, further information may be sought by the Selection Committee. This may be sought from the Head Teacher, or from the Head of the Science Department.

One or more members of the Selection Committee may ask if they may make an informal visit to the school or college.
